Osteoarthritis develops a common form of bone disease that typically happens in older adults. It causes the breakdown of cartilage, the flexible tissue that protects the ends of bones in a joint. Several causes can lead to osteoarthritis, including family history, age, high body mass index and joint damage. Symptoms can vary from person to person
